Ahu Dubai

Recently, Dubai has reached the top of many people’s bucket list in terms of where they want to visit and for good reason. The country is the host of many superlatives such as the world’s tallest building (Burj Khalifa at 2,717 feet), the world’s largest indoor theme park (IMG Worlds of Adventure, the world’s largest man-made marina, and the first ever rotating skyscraper which is set to open in 2020. All these new developments could turn the U.A.E into the new cultural capital of the world.

Detroit, MI, USA

Over the last few years, the Motor City has been gaining some serious momentum, and due to its improved infrastructure and the building of new chic hotels, 2018 might be its years to take center stage. They recently launched the QLine streetcar which makes it easier to get around the city. They also saw the opening of the Detroit Foundation Hotel that took the place of the former Fire Department Headquarters, which boasts 100 sleek rooms and a restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Thomas Lents.
